Forgive Me

I want to applogize for not posting anything for the past few days. I have been sick for two weeks and the past few days have been the worst. I have acute bronchitis and the cough has been so bad that I haven’t been sleeping well. Because of that I am having a hard time concentrating on The Word of God or even hearing what God has to tell me. I did go to the clinic and got some medication now I just have to wait for it to do its job so I can do mine. In the mean time I am asking that everyone keep me and my father-in-law lifted up in prayer, I don’t want him to get it because he is 86 years young and I want to get over it soon so I can continue spreading the good news of Jesus Christ

Thank You,

Beverly H.

The Vine

As children of God, thru Jesus Christ, we are asked by our Heavenly Father to bear fruit.  In John 15:1-2 Jesus says “ I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit”. There are many ways we, as Christians can bear fruit. We can volunteer at a local homeless shelter, feed the poor, clothe the needy, etc. We can also volunteer at our church, maybe your pastor needs help cleaning the church, or perhaps you could bring in some cups, paper plates, and plastic silverware. Maybe you could help set up or tear down at the next event that happens at your church. The point is there are many ways to bear fruit for God. For me it is this blog because I am able to share God’s word with potentially millions of people. But the easiest way to bear fruit is simply to love others as God has loved us. Because when you truly know Christ as your Savior you want to do those other things. So today show an act of kindness to someone, pay for the meal of the person behind you at the fast food place today. You could let someone ahead of you at the bank, or tell someone they are beautiful. Give someone a hug, what ever you decide to do just remember to do it in love because you never know when you may be entertaining angels. God bless and have a kind day.

Sick and tired of being sick and tired!

Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up and know it’s gonna be a bad day? Well that’s how my day has started I’m still sick, still have a sore throat, and I just plain don’t feel good. I feel like the enemy is after me like nobody’s business but God says “He that is in me is greater than he that is in this world”. So no matter how bad I feel today no matter how sick I am of being sick and tired I’m still going to worship the Lord with all my heart, mind, and soul. So remember when you’re feeling down and out and you feel like the world is out to get you just remember that God has a plan for our lives that we may not understand in the moment but he sees the bigger picture. Thank you Lord for loving me unconditionally

Woe to Those

Shout to the lord for the day draweth nigh. The days for us on earth are coming to the end. Great and terrible days are on the horizon, yet my people do nothing. Did I not ask you to share My Word? Don’t be afraid I am with you and I give you My peace. Remember I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. Always be battle ready put on My Armor because the end is close. There has been a spiritual famine on the earth that is getting worse. The souls of the people are shriveling up for lack of nourishment. The souls of the world are famished, please feed the them.

This is what I read from the devotional book I use, its call Jesus Calling, enjoying peace in His Presence by Sarah Young

  Jesus Calling (January 2nd)

Relax in My healing presence. As you spend time with Me, your thoughts tend to jump ahead to today’s plans and problems. Bring you mind back to Me for refreshment and renewal. Let the light of My presence soak into you, as you focus your thoughts on Me. Thus, I equip you to face whatever the day brings. This sacrifice of time pleases Me and strengthens you. Do not skimp on our time together. Resist the clamor of tasks waiting to be done, you have chosen what is better, and it will not take away from you.

Psalm 105:4, Luke 10::39-42
