Sometimes we fight God because He ask us to do something that we think we may be to old, to young or to uncomfortable to do. Jeremiah told God he was to young to be a prophet, that no one would listen to him. But God told him in Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” God doesn’t care how old you are or how young you are. He only cares that you be willing to do what He ask and most of the time I’m not because I think I’m going to do it wrong and He will be disappointed. The thing we must remember is that God loves us period! I feel we can only disappoint Him if we aren’t willing to step out in faith and do what He is asking of us. Deuteronomy 31:8 says “And the Lord, He is the one who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” We should take comfort in that verse because He is telling us, hey I’m here, you can’t make a mistake if you listen to Me. God doesn’t make mistakes we do, I’m still learning to trust Him in everything He ask me to do because I know He wouldn’t ask if He knew I couldn’t do it. So if you are struggling with something God has ask you to do go to Him in prayer and ask Him to give you peace and the confidence to do whatever it is. He loves us enough to give us the peace and confidence to accomplish the task He has set before us. I pray that this post will help you realize that no matter what task God gives us to do He also gives us the tools and the knowledge to do them. May you have a blessed day.
Peace Be With You,
