Faith Without Works

Good morning everyone, I want to share something with you that I read in my Bible this morning. I use the New Spirit Filled Life Bible, NKJV, and I love this Bible because there is so many tools in this Bible to help you. This is some of the things you will find in the pages that will give you some insight to what you are reading, Kingdom Dynamics, Word of Wealth, Truth in Action, In Text Maps, etc. I love seeing them on the pages and knowing that there is a little more information for me to help with what I’m reading. Kingdom Dynamics was one of them that was there when I was reading James 2:26 “For as the body without the Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also”., this is what Kingdom Dynamics had to say, ” Active Faith, PATHWAY OF MIRACLES. Faith inevitably calls us forward to action – to the work within faith. After seeking the perfect will of God for our lives or ministry, and often after other doors have remained closed. God opens unexpected doors intended to usher us into His destiny for our lives (Revelation 3:8). When He does, and there is clearly no question that God is opening the door – not yourself or someone else – move forward! Such signs direct along His miraculous pathway and lead toward His realized will and purpose (2 Sam. 5:19-25). Waiting in His presence eventually leads to recognizing His moment. When God presents a clear divinely given opportunity, act on it! (Matt. 6:33/Mark 11:23)”.

Well now that hits home for me because of all the years spent running from God and His purpose for my life. I’m a very stubborn person so I’m very grateful that God is very patient. As a believer, even when I walked away from God, I knew He had a purpose for my life, but I was like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum I didn’t want to hear what God had to say or do what He asked me to do. I wanted to reap the benefits but not put in the work. Well as you see in James 2:26 “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” you can’t have one without the other it just isn’t possible, you can’t reap the benefits without the works. You being part of the vine, (John 15:1-2), if you don’t bear fruit God will cut you from the vine. Like I said, “Thank God He is Patient”. I should have been cut from that vine long ago, but God loved me enough to wait for me to grow up some and realize that He does all things for my good (Romans 8:28). God wouldn’t ask us to do anything He wouldn’t do. He pours blessing out on us every day and He asks us to have faith and do good works for Him. Let God strengthen you and let the Holy Spirit guide you.

If there is any advice I could give you today it would be, Listen to God because He will never ask you to do something you’re not capable of doing, Follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit because He will never lead you in the wrong direction, And know that Jesus Christ is there to carry you when you think you can’t go on. My prayer for you today is that you will be still and hear what God is saying to you and do what He ask. God Bless and have a wonderful day.

Humble and Kind

Good morning Lord, I just want to thank You for giving me another day to praise You. I pray that I never turn away from you again. Let this fire I have for you remain burning bright until the end. Let Your light shine so bright that people wonder where it comes from. Let me be humble, loving, giving, and strong in my convictions always to Your Glory. For I want people to know these things I write about are true. That Your Word is our instruction Book on how to live humbly, loving, giving, prosperous not just financially but most importantly in Faith, Kindness, and Humility. We as Christians represent Jesus Christ and God’s Word shows us how to be like Him. So today I pray that you are, as my pastor likes to say, a little more like Jesus as you go through your day and someone is touched by the power of Jesus through you. I give God all the glory.

Amen.

God Bless you all 😊

Redeemed

Hello everyone I want to talk to you today about redemption. Have you ever thought about what it means to be redeemed? I mean really thought about the sacrifice that was made for us to be able to go to heaven? Well that is what God put on my heart this morning. Now I’m not one for doing a whole lot of research I feel that if I am in the right place God let’s me know just like he did this morning. I googled the word redemption and I came across an article from Thoughtco.com and this is what the article said,
“Redemption (pronounced ree DEMP shun) is the act of buying something back or paying a price or ransom to return something to your possession.

Redemption is the English translation of the Greek word agorazo, meaning “to purchase in the marketplace.” In ancient times, it often referred to the act of buying a slave. It carried the meaning of freeing someone from chains, prison, or slavery.

The New Bible Dictionary gives this definition: “Redemption means deliverance from some evil by payment of a price.”

What Does Redemption Mean to Christians?

The Christian use of redemption means Jesus Christ, through his sacrificial death, purchased believers from the slavery of sin to set us free from that bondage.

Another Greek word relating to this term is exagorazo. Redemption always involves going from something to something else. In this case, it is Christ freeing us from the bondage of the law to freedom of a new life in him.

The third Greek word connected with redemption is lutroo, meaning “to obtain release by the payment of a price.” The price (or ransom), in Christianity, was Christ’s precious blood, obtaining our release from sin and death.”

Now this really sums it up for me because that is exactly what Jesus Christ did for me! Not only for me but for anyone who “believes in Jesus Christ” can be redeemed. Now I don’t know about you but when I think about what Jesus did for me and the sacrifice He made for us I get very emotional. I think about God who made a decision to send His Son to earth as a sacrifice for many, a life changing decision for many people including me. Jesus Christ obeyed His Father knowing the out come would mean a terrible death on a cross. The torture He endured before He was ever put on the cross was unimaginable. He was betrayed by His disciple Judas Iscariot for 30 pieces of silver, He was abandoned by His disciples after He was taken, He was falsely accused and rejected by Jewish leaders God’s chosen people, He was mocked and abused by Roman guards, He knew he would carried the burden of the sins of the world and asked His Father to let that cup pass if it was God’s will, not His own. He obeyed His Father knowing what was coming. Jesus was spat on, His cloths were torn, He was beaten, and mocked a crown of thorns placed upon His head. Jesus had to carry His own cross to the place were He would be crucified. How horrible it must have been for Him know that once He got to Golgotha He would be nailed through His hands and feet to that cross for the sins of the world. All the while still being mocked by those that were there including the two thieves who were being crucified with Him. Given sour wine mingled with gall to drink still being mocked in disgust by those that were there. Only to cry out to His Father, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me”. But you see God did not forsake His only begotten Son, God had to turn His face away from the sin that Jesus bore. In that moment I can only imagine how much pain God must have felt having to turn away from His Son Jesus who was baring the sins of the world all so we had a way to heaven.
As a mother I can’t fathom ever allowing one of my children to be sacrificed for anyone let alone the entire world and I am sure there is no parent out there that could do that. Yet God loved us so much, with all our flaws, that He made that sacrifice so we could be redeemed and spend eternity with Him and His Son. So the next time you are having a bad day remember what The Father and The Son did to Redeem us and thank them for loving you that much. God Bless and have a redeemed day.

I would like to share a comment from John Bowen Sr. that I think is very important because he is right about what he said and I’m glad Mr. Bowen pointed it out.

“Walk of faith , well you explain what the word redemption means, But fell to tell how to be redeemed, it’s by the Blood, The Blood Of JESUS, is for the remission of sins, NOTICE WHAT PETER SAID HOW YOU GET THE BLOOD FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS! Acts 2:38 Then Peter Said Repent And Be Baptized Everyone Of IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR (For). Don’t miss this , FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS! Like People will Say , Saved by Grace, But fail to tell how to receive Grace!!! Romans 1:5 We receive Grace For (FOR) don’t miss the reason (FOR) OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH, So Obey Acts 2:38-42 Repent, And Get Baptized in The Name Of JESUS For (Don’t miss the reason, For The Remission Of Sins And ye Shall receive the gift of the HOLY GHOST, For The Promise ( If You Obey Acts 2:38 you can receive the Promise!!!! Romans We receive GRACE FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH!) (42) Then Continue Steadfastly in The Apostles Doctrine! Anyone that tried to Contradict, Change , or try to make Void Being Baptized in The Name Of JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, is of That Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils 1 Tim 4:1 Gal 1:6-12 Any other Gospel is Accursed.
