Wow!

I just had to share this because it really spoke to me, it made me ask myself “does this describe me? and I came to the realization that it doesn’t. It’s time to do some more soul searching. I got this from the NKJV of the Spirit Filled Life Bible Third Edition, it is a section in the book of Titus called” Praying The Word” and this is the prayer.

“Lord, help me to speak evil of no one.

Rather, teach me to be peaceable and gentle,

showing humility to all.”

If this touches you like it did me, I implore you to seek Jesus and ask Him to soften your heart. May God’s peace be with you today and everyday.

If you haven’t accepted Christ as your savior yet and would like to do so, please pray these words:

“Jesus, I acknowledge I am a sinner and I am in need of salvation. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross. Come into my heart and make me new. Thank you for your gift of eternal life. Help me to learn to walk with you now. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, please tell someone that can guide you in your next steps in your relationship with Jesus.

God Bless,

Truth And Action, 2 Thessalonians (Part 4)

This is located in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition. The Holy Spirit is an important part of our salvation, He allows us to know the difference between signs and wonders that are from God and those that come from the enemy. Thats why salvation is a relationship with God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit and the best way to build that relationship is by being in the Word of God.

The Walk of Faith

Walking by faith involves loving and holding fast to the Truth, the Bible. As we place our faith in truth, know the truth, and exercise the discernment that comes from the Holy Spirit, we will be able to recognize the true works of God.

Action

Be discerning, understanding that Satan can imitate signs and wonders. Through the Spirit and the truth of the Scriptures, you will be able to discern and affirm true signs and wonders done for the glory of God.

Stand faithfully, holding firmly to the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.

Pray for leaders, that God would use them powerfully and effectively to preach the gospel. Pray for their protection and the protection of their families from those who oppose their faith in Jesus.

Please know that God loves you so much and He doesn’t want you to be deceived, especially in these times. Trust in God and know that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bridge the gap between us and Him and He sent a Helper to get us through until He sends Jesus back for us. May the peace of God be with you today and everyday.

Truth And Action, 2 Thessalonians (Part 3)

This is located in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition. Are you seeking the Holy Spirit or reading the Word of God daily? We need the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us discernment, when you except Jesus Christ as your Savior you receive the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Word of God and correct you when you are doing something that isn’t pleasing to God. We are so loved by God that He sent a Helper to understand His instructions on how to live.

Pursuing Holiness

In our pursuit of holiness, we must pursue two things: the Holy Spirit, and knowing the Bible, the Word of Truth. Spend time each day in the Bible. Respond to what you read with obedience. Welcome the Holy Spirit and His sanctifying, cleansing, and transforming work in your life daily.

Action

Read and obey the Bible. Welcome the work of the Holy Spirit. God chose you for salvation in Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit and belief in the truth, God works His sanctification in and through you.

God make salvation so easy for us, we just have to believe in His, Son Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for our sins and that by grace through faith we are saved, then sends a helper so we can understand His Word. How great is our God! May God’s peace be with you today and everyday.

If you haven’t accepted Christ as your savior yet and would like to do so, please pray these words:

Truth And Action, 2 Thessalonians (Part 2)

This is located in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition. We need to seek Jesus with our heart, mind, and soul so we can face the chaos that is all around us and that is directed towards us.

Cultivating Dynamic Devotion

In the midst of suffering and persecution, it is imperative that our Devotion to Jesus is strong, growing in faith, and securely rooted in the love of God our Father. Seek to know God. Pursue an ever-deepening relationship with Jesus, so that when you face opposition, you will be able to stand.

Action

Understand that rich, growing faith in God and an abundance of love for others is the kind of Devotion needed to endure suffering.

Receive from Jesus Christ and God our Father love, eternal comfort, and good hope by grace.

Pray that God would direct the Devotion of your heart into a deepening love for Him and the patient endurance of Christ.

Now more that ever we need to be seeking God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior if we don’t have a deep rooted relationship with our Creator and Savior we will fall. We need to be praying without ceasing, we need to be in the Word of God soaking up all that He has to teach us so that we can STAND. The world is in chaos right now and it is going to get worse everything is pointing to Jesus’ soon return and we need to be telling people about what’s coming and how they can avoid the coming tribulation. Take a STAND. May the peace of God be with you today and every day.

Truth And Action, 2 Thessalonians (Part 1)

I am sharing this from the NKJV of the New Spirit Filled Life Bible Third Edition. Do you fill persecuted or that you are being put through trials and tribulations? Jesus told us that we would suffer these things, please know that it isn’t forever Jesus loves us and He is coming back soon.

Growing in Godliness

Jesus warned that we would experience persecution in this world (John 16:33). The apostle Paul tells us we are to endure these trials with faith and patience, knowing that it is for the kingdom of God that we suffer. We are also to intercede and pray for other believers and look expectantly for the return and vindication of Jesus Christ.

Action

Endure persecution with faith and patience. Be willing to face persecution, knowing that your suffering is for the kingdom of God. Know that God will punish those who persecute you.

Follow Paul’s example of prayer and intercession for those being persecuted in the church. Pray that they would fulfill all of the good purposes of God for them and that Jesus would be glorified through them.

Truth And Action, 1 Thessalonians (Part 4)

This is located in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition. In 1st Thessalonians Paul reminds us to keep the hope in knowing that Jesus Christ is going to return and take us home.

The Walk of Faith

The walk of faith is expectant and hopeful. By faith, we pray and expect to see God move through His church today with signs, wonders, and miracles. By faith, we embrace biblical preaching with the expectant hope that through His Word, God will change us increasingly into His image. By faith, we expectantly look forward to the return of our Lord Jesus, in whom all our hope is placed.

Action

Pray that your living and presenting the gospel will be accompanied by the power of the Spirit with signs, wonders, and miracles.

Welcome the Word off God in faith. Believe the gospel message is from God and not from mere human reasoning. Know that when you receive biblical preaching, it is able to powerfully effect change in you life (Rom. 10:17)

Believe by faith that Jesus is returning to usher in the fullness of His kingdom and glory for all eternity. Comfort those who have lost believing loved ones with the hope that those who have died in Christ will rise first.

God is so gracious to us, we only to have the faith of a mustard seed and God will water it and make it grow. God wants us to have enough faith to do signs, wonders, and miracles, but more than that He wants us to have faith in His Son. Through our faith by grace in Jesus we have salvation and and the gift of eternity with our Father and our Savior and all you have to do is admit your a sinner, repent, and ask Jesus into your heart. God knows everything you have done in your life because His Word says He knew you before you were born He knows every hair on your head, you can hide nothing from Him. The wonderful thing about excepting Jesus as your Savior is everything you’ve done has been thrown in the lake of forgetfulness. When you except Jesus, He becomes your advocate so when you stand before God to be judged, Jesus let’s our Father know you have been washed by His blood and are cleaned of sins. Please except Jesus as your Savior today because He is coming back very soon to take us home to be with Him for eternity. May the peace of God be with you today and everyday.

Truth In Action, 1 Thessalonians ( Part 3)

This is located in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition. In 1st Thessalonians Paul reminds us to keep the hope in knowing that Jesus Christ is going to return and take us home.

Pursuing Holiness

It is true that we are fully and completely sanctified, made holy in Jesus. It is equally true that God calls us to work out that sanctification on the way we live our lives. It is working out practically what God has already worked into us. In 1 Thessalonians, pursuing holiness means living a life worthy of God by the power of the Holy Spirit, always remembering that you are called into His kingdom and glory.

Action

Conduct your life so that it reflects the glory and kingdom of God, which you belong. Set as your goal to live worthy of God.

Be holy, sanctification is God’s will for your life. Keep away from all sexual activity outside of marriage. Behave with honor and purity in all of your relationships.

Live in holiness, for to this God has called you. Remember that God has given you His Holy Spirit. His power is in you; draw on it.

Submit your whole spirit, soul, and body completely to the sanctifying work of God, the God of peace.

We need to conduct ourselves in a manner that is worthy of God and that glorifies God. We are His vessels, the Holy Spirit works through us to show the love of God and if we are not showing God’s love, we need to be on our knees asking for forgiveness and direction. God loved us so much He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to die for us and by excepting Him as our savior we should be glad to be about God’s work on this earth. He want us to tell others about the sacrifice His Son made for all of us so everyone has the opportunity for Salvation and you may be the one that God uses to bring someone to Jesus, who was destined for hell.

Thank you for reading my blog today, may God’s peace be upon you today and everyday.

Cultivating Dynamic Devotion

The focus of the believers devotion and hope is Jesus our coming Lord. In 1 Thessalonians, Jesus is shown returning in glory for His Church. Our Devotion and worship of Him encompasses not only what He has done for us in the past and is doing in our lives in the present, but also what awaits us in eternity when He comes to usher inn His kingdom in its fullness. Let the hope of His coming strengthen and comfort you as you devote yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Truth In Action, 1 Thessalonians

This is in the NKJV Spirit-Filled Bible Third Edition

Truth

Growing in Godliness – Godly living is characterized by a life lived to please God. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we have already found favor in God’s sight; therefore, we are to live a life that reflects that favor. Like Jesus, our work is to flow from faith and love, honoring God in all we do. We are to behave so that when unbelievers see our lives they will recognize and honor God, who is our source of godliness. Love honor, prayer, and the full expression of the Holy Spirit are but a few of the things 1 thessalonians exhorts us to pursue.

Action

Understand that godly living includes; 1) work that flows from faith, 2) labor that flows from love, and 3) patient endurance that flows from living hope. Pray that these Virtues would characterize your life. Remember always that you are loved and CHOSEN IN CHRIST.

Be faithful and perserving in prayer for other believers and other congregations.

LIVE YOUR LIFE TO PLEASE GOD.

Seek to grow in love for others. Strive to live quietly, not gossiping, but tending to your own work. Be a witness to unbelievers through your godly lifestyle.

Understand that each of these exhortations is a command. Therefore, seek diligently to apply these truths to your life as you grow in godliness.

May the Peace of God be upon you today and everyday.
