We need the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us discernment, when you except Jesus Christ as your Savior you receive the Holy Spirit to help you understand the Word of God and correct you when you are doing something that isn’t pleasing to God. We are so loved by God that He sent a Helper to understand His instructions on how to live.

Pursuing Holiness

In our pursuit of holiness, we must pursue two things: the Holy Spirit, and knowing the Bible, the Word of Truth. Spend time each day in the Bible. Respond to what you read with obedience. Welcome the Holy Spirit and His sanctifying, cleansing, and transforming work in your life daily.

Action

Read and obey the Bible. Welcome the work of the Holy Spirit. God chose you for salvation in Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit and belief in the truth, God works His sanctification in and through you.

God make salvation so easy for us, we just have to believe in His, Son Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for our sins and that by grace through faith we are saved, then sends a helper so we can understand His Word. How great is our God! May God’s peace be with you today and everyday.

“Jesus, I acknowledge I am a sinner and I am in need of salvation. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross. Come into my heart and make me new. Thank you for your gift of eternal life. Help me to learn to walk with you now. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
