Giants

It’s time to take down the giants in your life and claim you mountain. If we truly understood the power and authority we inherited when we excepted Jesus Christ as our Savior we would have no giants in our life. If we had true belief in God’s Word and what it says we have access to we would realize we can do anything. Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. God didn’t say somethings He said ALL things, so why do we have a problem with walking in the gifts and the authority that He has given us? Why can’t we just trust that God has our back no matter the situation we may be in? I wish I had the answers, but I struggle with the same thing. God has been there throughout my life even when I turned my back on Him, He waited patiently for me to come home. When I did come back it was like He said I’ve been waiting for you I’m so glad you are home please trust me we have a lot to do and a short time to do it in. Though I feel closer to God and more grounded in Him than I have in my entire life, I am still scared though, again, I know that God has my back. We are called to be God’s witnesses on earth and I don’t think we have alot of time to get His Word out there. I believe that no matter how grounded we are in God we are going to struggle with trusting Him because we have been brought up that you can’t trust everything. That isn’t always a bad thing because there is people and things you can’t trust. But God is someone you can trust and you don’t have to fear. My Pastor told us this past Sunday that “do not fear” is in the Bible 365 times, that’s one for every day of the year. So don’t be afraid to do what God ask of you because He has given you everything you need to do what the things He has asked. Now is the time to face your giants, God gave David a rock and a sling to conquer his giant, don’t think that God isn’t going to give you your own rock and sling to take down your own giants. So let’s conquer our giants and take the mountain that God wants us to have

Trust God Through The Storm!

Sometimes God will allow you to go through things in your life that you may not understand. It may seem like it is so huge that you can’t see the other side. God allows things to happen to us so we can learn to fight and I don’t mean a physical fight, we need to trust that God knows what He is doing and that He is with us no matter how bad the storm is. Sometimes we may feel like God has left us in the worst part of the storm, but that is when He is carrying us. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it”. God has a plan for us, He wants us to be strong, for when the storms come we are ready for the battles ahead of us. With all the things happening in this world today we Christians need to be battle ready. Things are getting worse for Christians in todays society, our country was founded on Christian principles and I feel those principles are being tossed out the proverbial window. People are compromising what the word of God says and to me its very sad that we are willing to conform to the world. When God’s word clearly states we are in this world but we are not of this world. We can’t show the true love of God if we live like the world, it’s impossible. The time is getting close and we will be going home soon. We have to stand fast in the Word of God and continue to spread the good news about His Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of this world. So trust God through the storm and remember to tell someone today about Jesus Christ.

God Bless,

An Invitation To Abundant Life

Isaiah 55:6-13

6) Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

7) Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

8) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.

9) “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

10) ” For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater

11) So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12) For you should go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth in to singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

13) Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

The Time Draweth Nigh

Now is the time to choose don’t wait because no one knows the day or the hour, Mark 13:32. The one thing I know is that things are changing in this world, wars and rumors of wars, volcanoes erupting, earthquakes in various places, nation against nation, famines, epidemics and all of these things are the beginning of sorrows Mark 13: 5-8. God gives us a choice we can go on with our life as if nothing is changing or we can except His Son, Jesus Christ, as our savior and avoid whats coming after Jesus comes back for those who believed and accepted His invitation for Salvation because whats coming after the rapture is so much worse than what we are going through now and when millions of people disappear when the rapture happens there will be mass casualties. There will be car accidents because drivers will disappear, plans falling out of the sky because pilots will disappear, train wrecks because conductors will disappear, I hope you get the point I’m trying to make. You may not have another chance other than this moment. I pray that you chose eternal life with God the Father, through His Son Jesus Christ. May you be blessed.

God Use Me!

I have been struggling to continue this blog because I’m not a writer. I have been fighting God every step of the way because I thought, why would God use me to do something I’m no good at? Then God reminded me of who Jesus chose as his disciples. Peter, John, and Andrew were fisherman, Matthew – a tax collector, Simon – a Zealot, Judas – a thief, and Paul who became an apostle after the death and Resurrection of Jesus was a Pharisee. I guess the point I’m trying to make is don’t ask God to use you if you really don’t mean it. God doesn’t care who you are or what you do when He wants something done He will chose the most unlikely person to get it done, and that might just be you . So beware what you ask God for because when you lest expect it He will call on you and you better be ready to get out of your comfort zone and be willing to listen to God because it is a task He knows you can fulfill and He will give you everything you need to accomplish the task.

Remember what Philippians 2:13-15 says ” 13) for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14)Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15) that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

God loves you and knows you better than anyone else and He will never leave you nor forsake you and most of all God believes in you. God bless you.
