Where I Am

One of the greatest problems facing Christianity today is a refusal to believe that God could possibly care about our individual futures, that God could care about our day-to-day lives or have plans for us outside of a particularly religious call. We’re often fine with the idea that he might call other people, but there can be a deep insecurity about whether God could possibly use us. When it comes to my calling and my future, we fear that God has forgotten us“.

This is part of a Bible study that I’m doing in the Bible App, it’s called ” Know Your Why: Finding and Fulfilling Your Calling”. This is me right now, I have such a big fear about whether God could use me and whether I can do what He has called me to do. Over the past week or so I have been getting conformation after conformation about what God has called me to do, this blog, and conformation about what I’ve been struggling with in my mind. I know that if we don’t stay in the Word of God that the enemy can plant little things in our mind that can turn big and make us doubt we must be vigilant in reading God’s Word or we will find ourselves getting further and further away from God. I don’t know about you but I want to get closer and closer to God I’m tired of letting the devil have a foothold in my life. It’s time to kick him out and take our lives back from him. We need to get up every morning and before we get out of bed we need to pray that God will protect our minds from the enemy and thank God that He woke us up then we need to get into His word so that our day starts with Him and our mind is so full of God that the enemy has no where to plant anything. We need to put on the Whole Armor of God everyday so we are protected from the enemies blows we have to do our part to protect ourselves and we have the easiest part, God does the rest. So remember to thank God every day, read His Word and suit up with His armor. May the peace of God be with you.

If you haven’t accepted Christ as your savior yet and would like to do so, please pray these words:
“Jesus, I acknowledge I am a sinner and I am in need of salvation. Thank you for your sacrifice on the cross. Come into my heart and make me new. Thank you for your gift of eternal life. Help me to learn to walk with you now. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, please tell someone that can guide you in your next steps in your relationship with Jesus.

God Bless,

My Life Verse

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Walk In Unity

Ephesians 4:1-6

“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2) with all lowliness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with one another in love, 3) endeavoring to keep the unity ot the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4) There is one body and one Spirit, just as you wee called in one hope of you calling; 5) on Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6) one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all”.

Test

Sometimes God allows us to go through things that are hard for us to make us stronger and bring us closer to Him. It is up to us to fight or give up, I know because I am going through something right now that is testing my faith. I know I don’t have the strength to fight this war myself but God does and I have to rely on Him to get me through this. I know that we need to be Kingdom minded and in God’s presence right now more than ever because things are just gonna get worse. We have to lean on Jesus not on our understanding and know that no matter what He is always with us. God knows what we are going through and what we need to make it to the other side of what ever storm arises. Our flesh tends to get in the way when we think we have it under control, I laugh at myself when I finally realize that I’m trying to do God’s job and its not working for me. Then I have to humble myself and ask for forgiveness for the way I’ve been acting and let God do His job because I make a mess of my life. He is the only one who can make my path straight I tend to venture of the road with a bull dozier and make the craziest path you’ve ever seen, so for me it is so much better to let God be in control. Stop letting the enemy control you through circumstances that you need to give to God you need to pray, worship and be in God’s presence, and believe me I’m writing this for me. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in my problems that I forget to pray or worship or read God’s Word, but then through a friend He reminds me He is here and I need to rest and let He calm the storm. So if you feel you are being tested remember God is waiting for you to take a break and let Him take care of the hard stuff.

May the peace of God be with you today and every day.
